TYPES AND NEED OF ALTERNATE FUELS

Energy consumption is increasing
at a rapid phase since 1995,
because of fast technological
developments in every field, Most automobiles, aircraft's,machines
etc use various fuels for their
working, but amount of consumption depends on its kind of usage,
efficiency,applications, area of use etc,,
In this category Petroleum and
natural gas products holds the
top rank. and cost of these fuels
also in growth criteria because
of its decreasing availability all
over the world .To over come this Researches going on in large
scale to find the Alternate fuel,we succeeded up to certain level .

These researches on Alternate fuel
lead us to find various alternate
fuels like

1.Bio fuels
(fuels from syn gas ,algae,Energy crops etc)
2.Fuels from waste
3.Nuclear Energy                                         4.Synthetic fuels                                 5.Fuels from water                                      (Hydro power,Fuel cell)
6.Alcohol family as fuel
(Methanol,Ethanol,
Propanol,Butanol etc)
7.Wind energy(Wind mills)
8.Solar Energy
etc,.. etc,.

we can also check the amount of crude oil generation from the graph shown below..

we can clearly notice its at an
increasing phase and it will sure
go down after some years because
decreased resources.
now to save the world we are in
 search of Alternate fuels.

more information regarding alternate
fuels will be provided on next post.

thank you..

NEED FOR ALTERNATE FUELS

Fuel is the source of energy
for the engine, which turns
heat energy into mechanical
energy.

Petroleum is an organic material
made up of many hydrogen and
carbon atoms, in the family known
as hydrocarbons.

But the massive usage of petroleum
products brought the demand of less
cost and renewable kind of fuels.

Researches are undergoing regarding
Bio fuels from oil seeds etc.,
Hydrogen ,Fischer-Tropch kerosene,
methanol,etc..implementing  those fuels in automobiles and aircraft.

The fuels mentioned above are Renewable
and can renewed in future.

the picture below explains more clearly

non-renewable:

Renewable (feed stock)
still we are using non renewable resources more because
of their volumetric energy and technological dependence,
it will take few more years for the change to happen...
it can be clearly shown by the survey submitted by
Toyota corp.

more details will be added on next post..
